Rare 1950's grey cotton broadcloth day dress by famed designer Claire McCardell. This classic day dress features McCardell's signature bias cut bodice design that accentuates the waist and creates an ultra flattering V shape in the back. An extra long waist sash cinches in the waist. Black Buttons up the front. The skirt is quite full and pleated, hidden pockets at the sides. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
